Café Britt / the Coffee Tour

Caffe Britt Coffee Farm is located at the heart of a Coffee Plantation area near Heredia province. It features a multimedia show about coffee growing. Entertaining live actors walk with you around some growing coffee bushes. A Coffee-tasting lesson is then held.

Poas Volcano

60 minutes away from San Jose downtown, the Poas Volcano becomes one of the most visited Costa Rica´s destinations. Its crater, filled with turquoise water, is over a mile across and is said to be the second-largest active volcano crater in the world. Occasionally, the crater still boils and shoots steam geysers. Poas Volcano is situated in a protected National Park of the same name that offer visitors and information center, a colorful slide show about the volcano, and is the starting point for several well-market trails around the moonscape crater´s rim.

La Paz Waterfalls

La Paz Waterfalls is a pleasant natural wonder on the slopes of the Poas Volcano. It offers the orchid garden that attracts scores of hummingbirds.

In the beautiful town of Turrialba is located one of the best rivers in the world for rafting: The Pacuare River. Nothing means adventure more than rafting in Costa Rica.
